Sale: 22" Sand/ Black Meriel Overbust

Meriel was part of our AW19 collection, focused on using deadstock fabrics and with an opulent, classic aesthetic. The Meriel overbust features a dramatic sweetheart bustline with sweeping Edwardian hips, and carefully matched French lace with an organic flow, rather than a mirrored finish.

This corset is made in a rich, sand coloured sateen coutil, with a light sheen and smooth finish. The lace is a black Paisley pattern and is of exceptional quality and detail. There are 20 steel bones in the corset, including a boned modesty placket behind the busk, and a fully boned modesty panel at the back. The waist tape and boning channels are external for a comfortable construction, even without a corset liner.

Condition

This corset has been carefully used on photoshoots, and is still strong, and serviceable for years more wear. The only signs of age are some superficial lace damage (which can be repaired by hand) and some signs of rubbing on the coutil near the laces. None of this affects use.

Please do not wash your corset. A specialist dry cleaner will be able to clean your corset, but you can take regular care of it at home with thesetips and tricks.
