General Terms For Gift Vouchers

When making a purchase please familiarise yourself with our data protection policy to understand how your information will be stored and protected.

Your gift voucher will be sent as an instantly valid online code within 24 hours (during Monday to Friday) though a physical voucher can be sent for multiples of £100.

Gift Vouchers are only redeemable for current products, items, a range or style currently featured on www.orchidcorsetry.co.uk/custom-corsetry/ or https://www.orchidcorsetry.co.uk/shop/

Gift Vouchers can be used for the purchase of a place on an Orchid Corsetry corset making course where dates are advertised. They cannot be used for any additional expenses incurred in attending the course such as travel, accommodation, sustenance or materials purchased from external suppliers, which remain your responsibility.

Gift Vouchers are non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash or used for the purchase of Gift Vouchers.

For purchases where Gift Vouchers offered have a greater value than the goods and services being purchased, change above £4.99 will be returned as an Orchid Corsetry Gift Voucher.

Gift Vouchers can be used to pay for all project fees involved in commissioning a garment including design, materials, extras, postage, packing and insurance that may be applicable.

The Gift Voucher will expire 24 months from date of purchase. At expiry, any remaining balance will be lost. Gift Vouchers presented after their expiry date will be treated as void and are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.

Gift Vouchers cannot be returned or refunded, except in accordance with your legal rights.

Please protect your Orchid Corsetry Gift Voucher and treat it as cash. Orchid Corsetry cannot be held liable for Gift Vouchers, once sent, which are subsequently lost, stolen or damaged.

If any product purchased with a Gift Voucher is exchanged or refunded (please check the item specific terms and conditions as some items cannot be exchanged or returned), any money owing will be refunded in the form of an Orchid Corsetry Gift Voucher.

Customers must be prepared to prove their identity when making purchases to a level that is satisfactory to prevent fraud.

Orchid Corsetry reserves the right to refuse to accept a Gift Voucher which it deems to have been tampered with, duplicated, damaged or which otherwise is suspected to be affected from fraud.

Multiple Gift Vouchers may be redeemed in the same transaction up to the value of the goods being purchased.

Gift Vouchers/ codes must be submitted and received by Orchid Corsetry before work is started.

Orchid Corsetry reserves the right to change any of these terms and conditions from time to time without notice and to take appropriate action including cancellation of the Gift Voucher if, at its discretion, it deems such action necessary (eg. to change the scope of the Gift Voucher service, notify of the service’s withdrawal or in the event of circumstances beyond its control).

Physical gift vouchers (in addition to online codes) can be sent to overseas addresses. Postage, packing, insurance and customs charges will apply. Please contact Orchid Corsetry for details before purchasing.

Ideally, we aim to resolve complaints within a timescale of seven working days.  If this is not possible because a full investigation has not yet been completed, a progress report will be sent to the complainant. If we, Orchid Corsetry, are unable to resolve a complaint that you make within eight weeks you can take your complaint to Retail Dispute Resolution. This is an independent organisation specialising in providing an alternative dispute resolution service for consumers and retailers. You will need to refer your complaint to Retail Dispute Resolution within 12 months after our final response.
