Unlike it's sister corset, the Elinor Suspender Overbust, this piece is made for those who like a firmer touch. A coutil base, layered with AAA grade silk satin that has a satisfying weight to it, and over time, will mould like armour to your body. With almost 100 custom shades to choose from, you can create a piece that is all you own. For embellishment options, just get in touch.

Elinor has a decadently shaped bustline, a smoothly curved sweetheart shape that peaks and dips to a rolling Edwardian style low back. The lower hip line reflects the arcs and sweeping shape of the bust with a pointed centre front and back. The piece overall has a touch of the late Victorian, blended with a contemporary flair.

The construction is firm and gives excellent control, but will soften over time into a second skin. Fine cotton coutil gives a rigid base that will last through years of love, with a fashion fabric of silk satin, and bound throughout with handmade silk binding. The corset has a total of 20 steel bones in internal casings, and is made with bulk free seams for a sleek finish.

The Elinor overbust is intended for waist reductions of up to 4″. We generally suggest you buy a corset 6″ smaller than your natural waist size – this accounts for a 4″ reduction and a 2″ lacing gap, the chart below may help you choose your size, but please contact us with any questions you have.

Please do not wash your corset. A specialist dry cleaner will be able to clean your corset, but you can take regular care of it at home with thesetips and tricks.
