Nearly two decades of working with the male figure have informed this design. I know many of my male bespoke clients have begun their corseting journey with pieces made for the female body, and suffered with pinched ribs, digging into the lap when sitting down and excess fabric over the hips that can’t be hidden under clothes. Whilst there are male corsets available, most are not of desirable quality, and are often aimed at boudoir wear rather than being a hardworking, practical corset designed for longevity and comfort. Idris is a lovingly crafted solution to that problem.

Built from a single layer of strong coutil, with construction that reduces excess bulk and promotes a smooth profile, this is a corset that will allow your skin to breathe with daily wear, whilst offering you a silhouette that is defined and masculine. Cut for an elegant, tapered rib shape that is forgiving to wear, and a rigidly supported front for stomach control and flattening, Idris will enhance your figure and allow you to experience the intoxicating feeling of being laced into a second skin.

The Idris underbust is intended for waist reductions of up to 4″. We generally suggest you buy a corset 6″ smaller than your natural waist size – this accounts for a 4″ reduction and a 2″ lacing gap, the chart below may help you choose your size, but please contact us with any questions you have. Please do not wash your corset. A specialist dry cleaner will be able to clean your corset, but you can take regular care of it at home with these tips and tricks.
